Is the 4K4Community related to the 4K 4Charity?

The 4K4Community is a continuation of the 4K 4Charity Fun Run series, which Portland-based AWS Elemental started in 2014 and concluded in 2021. Through the Portland-based run and other events held globally, the series raised more than $1.3 million in gross proceeds for nonprofits focused on increased diversity and inclusion in technology. AWS Elemental is among the first sponsors of the 4K4Community.
